He did a good job of cleaning it off. I’m surprised that Mom (Arma) doesn’t object. We’ll see how this plays out.
So is the Ch’kavee life partner something that all desert tribesmen get, or is it something only limited to certain people within the tribe?
Only certain people. They’re too big and take up too many resources for everyone to have their own. Plus there wouldn’t be much point, because most Tribe members don’t have to move large amounts of goods or travel far. Vivan gets one because his father is the Tribe’s herdsman and presumably Vivan will follow in his footsteps.
I like the name, simple but nice. I hope they get along well in the future.
I really hope that you’ll be able to continue this story!! I can’t wait to see what led to the beginning of this chapter.
